A Big Welcome to My Fellow GT Fans!

Jaxon here from SBN's NFL Carolina Panthers blog Cat Scratch Reader and I am super stoked you have joined us. As my readers know I am an avid GT fan as well, alumni '88 IE. One more little detail is that our Cowboys blogger and lead NFL guy is my frat bro from Tech. Easily by best friend for life from those five short years but what a time! Most of my top 10 sporting events as a fan are from GT. For example of the top of my head the top 5 I attended in order of most memorable:

#1: Dennis Scott stealing the in-bounds pass against UNC and hitting a three to erase a 2pt deficit; I was five rows up behind that basket

#2: GT defeats Nebraska in the 1990 Citrus Bowl to WIN the College Football National Championship. To hell with the polls! Upper deck seats unfortunately

#3: Dennis Scott again hitting a three to beat DePaul; again behind the same backet; I didn't miss a BB or FB home game for 5 years

#4 WR Gary Lee running back the kick-off against UGA igniting the win. I was in the light fog of the upper desk

#5 GT defeats UGA in football as senior RB Jerry Mays runs wild. Who can tell me what year that was?

Man I could go on and on but I will save up. But enough of the past, we have a ton to be excited about in '09 and 010! Derrick Favors and that BB recruiting class. Top 10 here we come! Jonathan Dwyer and the triple option. It's going to fun!
