Blind Pick

I’m old, but in my day that was a blind pick on Mfon. The man has to see you or have body contact or it is a FOUL. Now this didn’t make or break the game, but when Malcomb Mackey dropped Bobby Hurley on a similar play I believe it was a FOUL on Mackey.

CPH wouldn’t have gotten more time at the end of regulation from those refs, but in the end Free Shoes University was just too Long (but couldn’t shoot from the Charity Stripe), and we are still Freshman.

Wild Swing

I’m as disappointed as anyone that we have once again started the ACC season with a loss, but I am a little surprised at how dramatically the Hewitt approval rating plummeted after one game.

To HELL with georgia!

Exactly what I was thinking

Some people forget we are starting three freshmen.

I understand they are freshmen, but

What are you going to say if we finish the season 9 – 7 at best? That it wasn’t because of coaching? I mean I hate to rag on our coach because he did take my team to a Final Four victory when I was a freshman, but everything he’s done since that magical year has made me wonder if that was earned or luck. I mean how many games have you seen, where we’ve tried to inbound the ball under pressure and we can’t even pull that off? How difficult is that? Get in a line and then spread out at the whistle! A child could execute that play, but only if it’s called.

All I’m saying is, expect CPH’s rating to fluctuate wildly with our wins and losses, but in the end I bet it’s gonna be something close to what our ACC record is, which as of today is 0 – 1.
