Ha! UGA Doesn't Just Suck, They're Soft!
I'm sure most Tech fans have taken notice of the Bullpups downhill slide this season. They currently stand at 4-4 and look nothing like the SEC powerhouse of just a few short years ago. Yet I haven't gotten too excited about it since they do play a tough schedule and I still expect a complete brawl in this years match-up. But when I read the following I could help but but laugh and feel a little giddy about their misfortune:
Mark Richt is not dumb. He did not wake up one recent morning less of a football coach than he was when he led Georgia to two SEC titles. But by now he probably has realized something: He has to change. His methods have to change. Everything that might affect direction and atmosphere has to change.
Richt did not wake up dumb. But he did wake up to find the Bulldogs no longer rank as an elite program in the nation. Or in the SEC. Or in the state.
Yes, the crumbling of the Bullpups is complete. They are now questioning the methods of their God-like leader coach Mark Richt. After losing to them 7 straight times we simply beat them once and their world is crashing down. A 4-4 record has them moaning about end of days. Could it get any better? Well what might the UGA faithful feel they should do?
Things got too comfortable. The program has been on autopilot for too long. You watch the results — the Bulldogs are a shockingly pedestrian 10-7 since the Alabama debacle last season — and you see how Richt reacts, in that, “Don’t worry, it will all work out because it always does,” kind of way. Fans can’t help but wonder, “Where’s the fire? Where’s the anger?”
There’s also this question: Where’s the accountability?
Here's some accountability, can his ass! Yes, send the best coach since Vince Dooley out the door because you can't compete in this one year. Certainly it must mean severe change is needed. I mean my goodness, this guy is...is...well he's too nice.
The Dogs are like a dull, rusty old knife that really only works in the Vanderbilt game.
“If you’re going to be accused of something,” Richt said Tuesday, “being accused of being a nice guy is not the worst thing.”
Oh he is toast for sure. Woof Woof! So am I wrong to be enjoying this so much Tech fans?

You are not wrong
In fact, the rest of us are wrong for not making a bigger deal about them sucking hind tit.
I completely agree that the Hate Game will be a freakin brawl this year (maybe literally) because their outgoing seniors will have an entire year’s worth of frustration built up by then. They’ll be looking for someone to take it out on, so expect even more late hits and UR penalties than normal. Hell, they may even try to dance on the Wreck.
But we will win this game, mark my words. We will not only win, we will take their will to play football away from their very souls, and make them look forward to the ride out GA 316 as a time of reflection upon how badly they each suck as human beings and football players. Oh yes, we will win.
Stick a Hobnail Boot in ‘em, THEY’RE DONE!!

I think Tech fans have been fairly quite because...
we’re not used to this being so one sided in our direction and maybe we don’t want to jinx it! But come Thanksgiving weekend I’m sure we will all rejoice at the smashing of the pups

UGA…NEXT YEAR If it makes you feel anybetter. I am playing NCAA 10 and I have started next season with Aaron Murray and I have killed all the opponents so far, he is so much better at scrambling out of the pocket than Cox was. I dont know if it means anything, but it gives me a little hope for next year!
God, they suck

Wow
That’s pretty sad that they need to play a video game to find hope for their team.
But in response to you Jaxon, no, no you are not wrong at all. In fact, I present to you my logic as to why you are so sooo right:

"This is America, if we can’t self-righteously look down on others and blame them for our faults, the commies win."-----Cormican on Bleeding Green Nation w/r/t fans overreacting to the Eagles signing of Michael Vick

I think most UGAg fans
Have accepted that their D sucks and that Richt will probably do something about it after the season. ‘Til then, it’s FEAST TIME!
