What color uniforms will dawgs wear next week?

The pups will come into Atlanta needing a little motivation next Saturday, and we all know what that means to Mark Richt: dancing in the end zone or adding black to the uniform (either shirts or pants).  Even though the latter hasn't worked out the last couple of times they've done it, I hope they try again.

I'd like to see black helmets, red jerseys, black pants, red socks, and black shoes.  They may have to go out and buy the socks, but they've worn all the other pieces this year.  What do you think?

A mixed bag of F-A-I-L

I’m not sure how many people noticed this, but when they played Ok St. I swear they were wearing pink or some kind of faded red colored helmets. The Wife and I at first thought something had gone wrong with the big screen, but when there was a camera shot of the sideline, all of the coaches were wearing the regular red and the players standing next to them were sure enough wearing those wierd pink looking helmets.

So, I say they break those out again and combine them with white tops and black pants. Regardless of what they choose, it will be ugly, most definitely something stupid used for a futile motivational trick, and overall so full of fail that the school will officially renounce all use of color of any kind.

Corey Zickefoose: I think they should still be able to play football, regardless. Tennessee is my place. You know, it's my football team.

Reporter: Even after they put a gun in your face, you say let them play football?

Corey Zickefoose: Yeah. It's Tennessee. That's the way it is sometimes.

Welcome to the SEC!

Even if the Dawgs wear pink...

it’ll look better than that ghetto North Avenue fake gold. Ga Tech is usually our dessert after a tough season. So maybe you beat us this year… you will still need 20 more wins to take the all time lead. Let’s see… we can assume you win every game for the next 20 years… It’ll be nearly 2029 before you take the all time lead…

here's a record for ya...

UF is trailing UGA all time but do people care about the all time series? No, they care about the record since Spurrier. 16 Wins UF, 3 Wins UGA.

You know what records Tech fans care about: Paul Johnson 1, Mark Richt 0. National Championships: Tech 4, UGA 1.

This post

is what you see from Dawg fans that are in denial. Here’s how it translates:

“I know that we have no chance of winning this game, and that our program is in decline. Therefore, I must find a record…any record…that makes my team salvage some small sort of respect for themselves. I am going to totally ignore the fact that Cox is worse than Mike Bobo as a player and that CMR is on the ropes.”

Oh, well.

It appears that Georgia won’t be wearing different uniforms Saturday, unless they are engaging in a bit of misdirection, and it seems they are incapable of that.

I guess that means they’ll be dancing in the end zone if they score a touchdown, since that’s Richt’s other motivational tool.

They'll have a load in their silver britches when...

they stare wide-eyed at D. Morgan, M. Burnett, or J. Dwyer about to cleat them into the turf of GRANT FIELD at HISTORIC BOBBY DODD STADIUM.

It’s fun to go back and read these kinds of posts after the game, isn’t it?
