Will Diesel return?
I do my best thinking when I drive, and I drove a lot this weekend. One of my main thinking points, as always this time of year, was GT football and the future of our beloved corps of student-athletes. I also listened to the CPJ show podcast (which I could listen to over and over again and not get tired of), which just added to my thoughts.
One of my main thoughts about the future of GT football revolves around Jon Dwyer. I have an opinion, but I'm interested in reading everyone else's.
Do you think Diesel will return next year?

He's gone,
He’s got the build for an NFL running back
The college football season is so fragile. It's like a glass ball being pushed around from stadium to stadium by a rhinoceros.

My opinion
I think that coming in to this season, he was a dead lock for entering the draft. However, let’s be honest, he hasn’t seen the numbers that we (at least I) expected so far this year. We could debate the reasons for that for days, but I believe that his production thus far has hurt his draft position.
I would never pull for him to have a bad rest of the year, but if his production stays lower than the expectation, I look for him to return next year to bolster his draft position.
If he keeps going off like he did against UNC, he gone…
Maker's Mark--nectar of the gods...
I think
most NFL scouts have enough film on him to know the Diesel is NFL quality RB. They will not want a senior RB. Barring major injuries before season’s end (knock on wood), he’s gone.
I'm about to write you a reality check. Or would you prefer the cold, hard cash of truth?
Agree...his production this year won't matter
His 40 time and film from last season will be enough to make him a 1st round selection.
The Diesel will play on Sunday’s next season

Oh...voted 'No'
but praying he doesn’t end up in Cleveland. I still can’t believe Calvin is in Detroit. Poor Calvin won’t see the playoff stage at least until his rookie contract is up.
