Blog Poll Week 7 Rough Draft
This is how we voted in our initial week 7 blog poll. I think we all felt like Idaho deserved a shot at being in the poll since their only loss was to Washington (aka USC). The Vandals are playing good football and deserve some street cred. Winning consistently deserves attention, in our opinion.
Also, I made a breakdown of the AP/BCS/FTRS polls thus far. Here it is:

teams on FTRS not in other polls
Idaho, Nebraska (bad call on our part), and Michigan
I'm about to write you a reality check. Or would you prefer the cold, hard cash of truth?
I'm throwin down a BS card
for you having USF ranked still, too. They got worked by Cincy with a B/U QB.
And I now can admit it…’bama is better than UF. Sorry to leave ya hangin, John.

I didnt punish
South Carolina for losing to Bama, so I’m not going to work USF for losing to Cincy.
Also, Texas Tech is a good team that has been waiting for a beatable opponent. Nebraska is also a good team… I dont see why they have to drop off just because they lost to Texas Tech (of course, the score was a little lopsided…)/
I think the problem is
that I still dont feel like Cincy deserves to be up that high. I think I’m reverting back to my hatred for the Big East.

Just do what I do
Pretend the Bearcats are the exciting new addition to the Big 10. Then it is very, very easy to vote for them.
cin-city
Its typically painful to put them too high, but right now the undefeateds are dropping like flies and cincy has won convincingly in almost all of their games. Plus, I think the Bearcats would take iowa, tcu, and boise to the woodshed with a healthy tony pike, so as long as they keep winning, they deserve top 5 status in my opinion.
Just because Nebraska lost doesn’t mean they should drop out.
I am struggling with USC big time. Best win is at a team who lost to Purdue. Thoughts? Why did we drop LSU but not USC?

pretty good point
I’ve kinda been a USC believer for a long time…but theyre not showing the level of talent this year that they have in the past

i love how you guy's have idaho in your rankings.
not only are they 6-1 straight up. they are 7-0 vs the point spread. no team has ever gone 12-0. they play the nevada wolfpack this week. the line started at 13.5 points. it will goto 14.5. the game is in reno nevada where the wolf pack play. i live in tahoe/reno area and will take idaho with the points. there are 56 college football games this week. this game will have more money wagered on it than any other b/c the vandals are 7-0 vs the spread plus the game is in reno at the unr campus. peace.
